  • #2. The Safest Way to Rise Up from Bed
When Living with Back Pain, you might find yourself lying in bed and stalling yourself an extra few minutes, thinking about the safest way you’re going to get out of your bed. Here’s a remedy that will help you rise and not be late... First, turn your entire body like a "log" to one side; the side you will be getting up on. Stay as close to the edge of the bed as possible with both knees bent towards your belly. Then, slowly while swinging both legs down off the edge of the bed, use the "top" hand to push off the bed into sitting position. This way, you will prevent any twisting at the lower back, and you’ll rise up without Pain in your back. This method is a SAFE way for you to get up in the mornings Pain free and to get your day started!
  • #3. Avoid Sleeping on Your Stomach
There isn’t a more effective, faster route to self-inflicted Damage to your spine and lower back than that of sleeping on your stomach. AVOID this position like the plague. Every part of your spine is twisted and in the wrong position and if you sleep like this, it’s no wonder you are Suffering from Back Pain. Before making any assumptions, PLEASE CONSULT WITH YOUR PHYSICAL THERAPIST, who will give you the appropriate advice based on your clinical assessment and diagnosis.
